How Lattice can help your family
Lattice Autism Consulting provides educational guidance and consultation for Minnesota families navigating autism-related services. The goal is to help families understand how systems work, identify the pathways that make sense for their child, and leave with a clear, personalized plan they can use independently.
These services do not include therapy, diagnosis, legal advice, or case management. The focus is on providing clear information, realistic expectations, and structured support so families can make informed decisions with confidence.
Many families work with Lattice for a single consultation to gain clarity & understanding, then move forward independently using community and public resources.

This foundational consultation is designed to help families gain clarity and direction at the start of their journey or at a point of significant uncertainty without ongoing involvement.
During this session, families receive a comprehensive orientation to how autism-related services are structured across Minnesota’s education, county/state, and private systems. The focus is on reducing confusion, prioritizing next steps, and helping parents understand where to focus their energy.

Review of the family’s current situation, concerns, and goals
Clear explanation of Minnesota’s autism-related service systems
Identification of which systems apply to the child and family
Guidance around appropriate pathways and timing
Development of a prioritized, personalized roadmap outlining next steps

Optional session | 45–60 minutes
This consultation is designed as a decision-point check-in for families who have already begun taking action and need support adjusting their plan as circumstances change.
It is best suited for families navigating obstacles, new information, or transitions and who want clarity without ongoing involvement.
This session includes:
Review of steps the family has completed
Adjustments to the roadmap based on:
Waitlists
Denials or delays
New diagnoses or evaluation results
School or program changes
Clarification of next-level options across systems
Reinforcement of system boundaries, expectations, and realistic timelines
